What?
A fan-fiction project created almost 10 years ago, DEADLINE is a team of intergalactic bounty hunters that patrol the galaxy serving justice for those that can afford it. Originally conceived as a comic book series, it will soon become a series of customized action figures starring in their own photonovels!

Who?
Oombar was the Circus Horrificus' combat champion in their traveling arenas. Because of his huge size, he was often pitted against entire legions at a time. Oombar has fought Mantellian Savrips and emerged victorious. Once he even defeated a Rancor bare-handed. Although they made many credits from his battles, his handlers treated him with no respect. Oombar joined DEADLINE as the team's powerhouse after he befriended Twigg, the youngest member. The two have been together ever since.

How?
Oombar was made from a Smart Hulk figure from the Transformations line. I sculpted on a new head, cured the sculpey, and then I painted him blue. I added some more details, but that was pretty much it.

I always liked the Hulk from the comics when I was a kid. I wanted to have a character like that, who wasn't very smart, but packed a lot of power. At the time I designed DEADLINE, the Hulk was smart and wore a suit--but I stuck with my original plan. It's ironic that I used a Smart Hulk to create a dumb Hulk-type character.
