What Does That Screen Say?   The Repeating Pattern Going back to "the screen", it became obvious to me that each line was a repeated set of characters. A few blanks just needed to be filled in. Enough talk - let's fill in the blanks. There are a few places where the pattern doesn't have enough room to repeat itself, so a few blanks remain. But we can generally extract the complete set of characters from each line. Here's the Aurebesh version, with the "missing" letters in yellow: And remember those red bullets I told you to forget about, take a look at them again. I think you'll find they also follow the pattern of letters for each of their lines. So the bad news here is that, once we've filled in all the blanks, we still don't know what these screens say. But that doesn't really matter anymore. The screens, as we see them, are just made up of letters selected from a block of text. It's highly improbable to generate meaningful words by randomly breaking up and subtracting letters from larger words. What's more likely is that the words on these screens are simply there to provide a little atmosphere. So the good news is that at least we can know for sure that the screens don't say anything.
