Review: Magic of the Myth Exhibit
Imperial Star Destroyer

Just as the Star Destroyer makes a visual impact within the first few seconds of Star Wars: A New Hope, so does this magnificent model when you first enter the exhibit. These pictures don't really do the model justice in terms of its stunning detail.

I've read that the lights inside these models were so hot, they could only be turned on for a few minutes at a time. I realize it probably would pose a risk to the model to do so, but it would've been really cool if every 30 minutes the lights in the room automatically dimmed and the ship lit up for a few minutes. A fanboy can dream, right?
