FAQ: About This Site

What's Erikstormtrooper.com all about?

This site is a labor of love. It allows me to combine two of my strongest interests: Star Wars and web design.

The majority of stuff you'll find here deals with my Star Wars collection. Unlike many "collectors" today who leave all of their stuff in the original packaging, I'm a chronic "opener". I naturally started setting up my opened collection in dioramas, which led to me customizing figures so that I could add characters that were never made. I also wanted to start some customized playsets, and I realized that scans of stickers and backgrounds would be a great way to add scenic details. I provide all these resources on the Internet to serve as an inspiration and possibly a guide for anyone out there who may share my interests. And that, in a nutshell, is what this site is all about.

This site is paid for by me. I have no financial affiliations with any of the sites I link to. I derive absolutely no profit from this site. That doesn't count the warm, fuzzy feeling I get when someone sends me an appreciative e-mail.

How can we find out more about the man - the mystery - that IS Erik Schroeder?

How can I make my own web page?

A good question, but a HUGE one. I recommend that you check at Builder.com. It’s a good resource for making a website. I may be able to help you with this, but don't get your feelings hurt if I can't. I personally make my website "by hand," using the Windows Notepad. I write the HTML code for (mostly) everything you see. I don’t use Microsoft FrontPage, but I do recommend it as a decent tool for anyone who wants to make a website.
