Toy Customizer was a magazine prototype I created for a class in Graduate School. A magazine prototype is an abbreviated version of a magazine, meaning it is shorter in length. Only two of the articles presented in the table of contents actually appear in this prototype. The main part of this prototype is a recipe for making your own Captain Antilles figure; an HTML version of this recipe can be found in the Captain Antilles Recipe Tutorial.
Toy Customizer was conceived by me as a magazine for individuals who customize existing toys to make new ones. The content of this magazine is copyrighted by me, Erik Schroeder, unless otherwise noted.
The file for this prototype was created using Adobe Photoshop, Quark XPress, and Adobe Acrobat. The file is approximately 2.3 megabytes, so it may take a while to download. In order to view the file, you will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is a free download from Adobe.com.
