Vintage Grand Moff Tarkin
Before Kenner announced the release of a Grand Moff Tarkin figure in 1997, I had been inspired to make my own custom Tarkin. I took the Imperial Officer figure at left and began by cutting off his hat and carving the head to resemble that of Grand Moff Tarkin. This was a slow process that lasted about 5 hours. After I had completed the carving, I then painted the hair and the uniform.
